PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The versatile SX Stainless Steel High Flow Fluid Heater System is ideal for a variety of applications. With flow rates up to 100 GPM, this heater is suitable for clean-in-place and centralized facility fluid heating. Also, temperature controls and safeties come in a NEMA-rated enclosure, found on the front of the heater for easy access.

PURITY AND FLEXIBILITY

This heater is ideal for high purity heating applications found in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage industries. Most notably, all wetted surfaces feature 316L stainless steel. Additionally, tri-clamp fittings are available as an option on the SX heater to reduce sources of potential particle contamination. Furthermore, the SX mounts either vertically, taking up minimal floor space, or horizontally on a mobile cart for portability.

SAFETY FEATURES

The SX heater features a number of designed-in safeties. For example, the central heating element is UL and CSA recognized.  Furthermore, a liquid level sensor informs the operator of fluid levels, monitoring potentially-dangerous low fluid conditions. Finally, a process thermocouple is one of the safety features, along with a heater pressure relief valve and a door interlock.

KEY SPECIFICATIONS

The SX heater comes in outputs of 12 kW to 200 kW (dependent on customer voltage), and with input power of 200 VAC to 480 VAC (dependent on wattage). Fluid temperature is 203º F (95º C) with a temperature accuracy of ± 0.1º C (dependent on customer’s facilitation). Fluid flow rates are 0.5 GPM to 100 GPM (dependent on model), with a pressure of 60 PSIG @ 95º C.
