PRODUCT OVERVIEW

For semiconductor, solar, MEMS manufacturing, and other industries requiring the most exacting standards of purity, Heateflex offers a line of PVDF & PFA ultra-pure in-line fluid heaters. These heaters are ideal for heating deionized water, acids, and less aggressive process chemistries (depending on the model). Moreover, the heater is appropriate for recirculation and point-of-use fluid heating applications. Furthermore, the small footprint results in lower space requirements, and it is easy to integrate these heaters into current systems. Available in 1-30 kW, and in worldwide voltages.

ULTRA-PURE FLUID HEATING

At the heart of our PVDF & PFA in-line fluid heaters is the patented Heateflex® heating coil, which provides the maximum power output in the smallest possible package. In addition, a low watt density design (≤ 4 watts/in.²) extends the life of the heater (which is typically greater than 10 years) by spreading out the wattage. Futhermore, PFA materials extrude over the heating element, eliminating the need for a nitrogen purge, and reducing operating costs.

SAFETY FEATURES

These Heateflex PVDF & PFA in-line heaters incorporate a number of features for safe operation. For example, over-temperature and process high-limit interlocks maintain safe heater temperatures. Additionally, a liquid level sensor provides the operator with the assurance that the heating element remains immersed in the process fluid. Finally, a ground wire ensures electrical safety per the appropriate standards.

KEY SPECIFICATIONS

Heateflex uses only high-grade fluoropolymer materials (PVDF or PFA) for all of the wetted surfaces of these in-line fluid heaters. Numerous models of these heaters, depending on the application, are available. Temperature outputs range from 95º to 160º C, with an operating pressure of 60 PSIG at 95º C. Flow rates range from 0.5 GPM (1.9 LPM) to 32 GPM (122 LPM), depending on the model. Lastly, fluid temperature is ambient to 95º C (203º F), with a temperature accuracy of ± 0.1º C.
