Heateflex Introduces New Quartz Heater at SEMICON Taiwan

Heateflex by White Knight joined SCH Electronics Co., Ltd., to exhibit at SEMICON Taiwan, held in Taipei from September 18-20.  Heateflex exhibited both its Aquarius® deionized (DI) water heater and the newly introduced Quartz high purity in-line fluid heater. Since the company’s acquisition, Heateflex also joined White Knight Fluid Handling, the company’s new parent company at the show. White Knight exhibited Heateflex’s HC model PFA ultra-pure in-line fluid heater and custom PFA tank heaters.

Designed for high purity heating applications requiring accurate temperature control, the Aquarius features the innovative Power-to-Flow Control™ system. Power-to-Flow Control measures the temperature of the DI water at various steps in the heating process, and then adjusts the amount of power applied to the heating elements at each station, eliminating undesirable overshoots or drops in temperature.

For efficiency, the Quartz heater is constructed for an effective heat transfer through conduction while ensuring high purity and chemical compatibility. In addition, the Quartz’s flexibility permitting easy integration into existing equipment simplifies the replacement process for manufacturers.

The HC model in-line heater is designed for point-of-use heating of aggressive acids and chemicals. Engineered with sub-14 nanometer processes in mind, the HC contains special internal fittings that do not require seals, as well as a welded top cap. This helps in eliminating O-rings and possible sources of particle contamination.

SEMICON Taiwan is the premier trade show for the microelectronics manufacturing community, held annually in Taipei during the fall. The show themed advanced manufacturing and testing technologies for artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (I0T), and smart manufacturing.
